From their website (http://www.nationaltownwatch.org/nno/): "National Night Out has proven to be an effective, inexpensive and enjoyable program to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation."

As a crime-fighting tool, should we not all do our part and make National Night Out into National Open Carry Night Out?

If I'm outside, I'll be doing my part.

I know most Target stores are holding some type of event in their parking lots in support of this. I was going to OC at my local Target and hand out OC cards for a little bit. For some reason your link didn't work. Here it is:

The closing parenthesis and the colon were inadvertently included in the URL. Tip: Always hit the space bar after typing a URL so that any punctuation following isn't automatically included within the URL tags.

Now I see it. Thanks for the tip. Ironically ): makes a frowny face.

I'm debating if I will attend one locally. I am a bit leery after a leo encounter in my area. I need to print more pamphlets to hand out if I do attend one :)

I'm disappointed to find the most detailed information as to where events will be held in Colorado Springs is "Colorado Springs."

I received an invitation to ours in the mail. I know many of them are held at one of the parks.
