So as I mentioned in the earlier in another thread I was at Starbucks. When I came home from Starbucks, I pulled into my garage. I got out of my car and walked around the back to get to my door that leads into my house. That's when I heard a vehicle pulling up. I live in a cul de sac. I turned to see a black SUV that I have never seen before with a Hispanic male driver stopping along side my drive way. I made Eye contact with him and did not break that contact. That's when he saw my gun on my hip and he got all wide eyed. As soon as that happened he immediately drove forward and pulled in to an empty driveway, backed out, and drove off pretty fast.

I'm not quite sure what he was up to. could have just been turning around to begin with, or it could have been something more. All I know is he sure got outta there quick after seeing that I was armed.

License number? Probably not. It's amazing that we never remember to do that (I've done it too). It's forehead slapping frustrating. Hope it turns out to be nothing bad.

...a Hispanic male driver...

Clearly, SigGuy23 is a racist.

I bet you dropped your wallet at star bucks and this nice gentlemen followed you home trying to help you out. Then when he stopped and was looking to see if you were indeed the guy who he saw drop the wallet you gave him the stare of death combined with being armed - at this point he decided he was too scared to approach you about your wallet.

I didn't really think about it and he took off pretty quickly so really wouldn't have got a chance.

Nice Sarcasm Schlitz. As far as the race thing goes. I was simply describing the person occupying the vehicle. If he was white I would have said a white man. That and a Hispanic man in my neighbor hood is off. There are not to many of them in this area. I was just calling it as I saw it.

I know you were. I just wanted to clarify for people who might not be joking or thought I was being racist. That's all. I'm pretty good at telling when you're joking on here and when you're not. The easiest way is the pictures. :D I love it when you do the HE MAD pics when people flip out on here lol.

That sounds strange. You have a right to be suspicious.

It's not all that strange in Marysville anymore.

Just about everyone living around here has, or will have, a similar experience sooner or later. Just read the paper and look at the number of home invasions, robberies, and shootings that Marysville has had in recent times. Pretty soon it will be like Yakima.;)

You're not kiddin'. A couple months ago I was coming back to the truck from fishing (and just a quarter-mile from my house) and a car full of guys come racing into the parking lot, screech on the brakes almost hitting my truck and looked like they were going to be jumping out of the car. I put my hand in my waders and grabbed my pistol. They took off right as I did that. Who knows what that was about...

What good would it have done anyway, since the guy didn't actually do anything illegal?

If nothing else, it's a good SA drill. Thinking on your feet as it were. So far I've failed in every occasion to get plate numbers, except one where I had my bike handlebar cam on. I've been buzzed by cars on a number of occasions.
