Maroon (/məruːn/ mə-ROON or /məroʊn/ mə-RONE) is a dark brownish red color[2] which takes its name from the French word marron, or chestnut.[3] The Oxford English Dictionary describes it as "a brownish crimson or claret color.

Condition Brownish? LOL!

You must be a kid or lead a deprived childhood not to catch the reference (hint- Saturday morning cartoons/Bugs Bunny)

Idaho is known for potatoes ... not surprisingly, its a boring state.

Boring can be good. As the OP notes.

Yes we have some of the best potatoes, I really like that I can get very large potatoes here in Idaho, for they explode very well when hit with my 1892 Winchester in 44 magnum.

What a great idea! Biodegradable targets are great! No need to clean up the mess on my range. I am sure the critters will take care of that!
