A little off subject...

I got my Kimber Custom Stainless II for $450 through a private sale. Dumbass got married and wife said he couldn't have a gun in "HER" home - I guess it isn't his home even though he owned it before they got married. I have known the guy for years, and was at the wedding.

I guess I would have never been able to get it if LEO 229 (http://opencarry.mywowbb.com/forum54/5669-1.html)and other have their way. You know, the FDA should close the Lemonade Stand loopholes next.

There's your header. I took out my e-mail addy...other than that it's just copied and pasted. I'm savvy enough to find the header but I haven't a clue how to determine country of origin. I'll let you guys figure that one out.

It's not so strange. Most spam comes from the United States and is essentially the same thing with less sophistication.

Thats funny as hell. Why is it ALWAYS Nigerians??

Scamming Americans for money is the 3rd highest contributor to the Nigerian Gross National Profit (GNP).

No one is going to care about catching this guy for fraud, BUT contacting Interpol about him trying to sell undocumented firearms internationally should raise some eyebrows :D

Like just about any other Federal firearms offense you would be looking at up to 10 years in a cell with a guy named Bubba.

Actually, you bring up a good point... Perhaps even playing along with the scammers for fun could get one arrested by the BATFE for attempt to illegally import guns or something like that. How did they find out? Oh, well, it won't matter because you'll disappear or be threatened into automatically pleading guilty.

FIRE ARMS AGENCY LTD

What kind of a phone number is that? I'm done with these guys, but I'm surprised they're pushin like they are.

(I just got back from 7 years in England.) That is a British phone #. 44 is the country code. In the U.S., to get an international line, you would first dial 011, then the country code, then the local phone number. British #'s are in the format: 0XXXX-XXXXXX. The initial 0 is dropped when dialing from outside of the country, hence: 011-44-7024-063231. This sounds like a number in the Channel Islands to me, they have tax benefits for legit buisnesses, and legal/tracing benefits for scams. The calls might be taken in the Isles, or forwarded to a Nigerian number, if you know someone in an ABC/XYZ agency who can trace phones, go wild.

For what it's worth, the only guns that can be legally sold from/in the U.K. are shotguns, rifles, air-guns/paint markersand antiques. I don't have the U.K. law handy, but it shouldn't be too hard to look up. (I'mat work right now.:?)

Would this be something to sic the BATFE on? It might divert their attention from honest gun dealers...
