Are Hospitals/Doctor's Offices/Clinics off limits?

I have heard this during my concealed carry course however it was put to me a bit vauge so I will only state what i recall. If those locations have educational facilities such as a nursing school in conjunction with a college then it is off limits because it is educational.

I also belive I heard that private health care facilities were off limits. maybe I was hearing things

I really don't think there's a law that makes them off limits. Every hospital I've been to has signs, so I carry concealed. I have been into a doctor's office carrying openly before without incident.
