So my sister told me that in school today and all week her teachers have been advocating and "educating" them on the "dangers" of Governor Walkers budget bill. I am pretty pissed about this.

Where does this have ANY place in a public school? This is not for them to talk about in school!

I am seriously debating sending an email and complaining, or having my mother send one. Unbelievable. These people are sucking of our backs, saying raising taxes is the answer, and teaching this garbage to kids? What the hell?

I understand this is not really the place for it, but I figure you guys might have some input.

Where does it stop? When will they stop forcing their beliefs on us? You should hear some of the things my professors say. It makes me actually physically sick where our country is heading.

98% of teachers are Liberal Kool Aid drinking Obama worshiping Commie Democrats. They are indoctrinating the Youth to be good little Socialists.

Or we could just go to their schools and teach them; seeing that all the "pros" have left, being "sick and all".

My daughter attends Kenosha Military Academy and we had a few run ins with them earlier in the school year. One teacher in particular made a "practice ballot" and handed it out in class for the November 2nd elections. The ballot had every person running for office on it and wasn't a "practice ballot" at all. The students were required to answer and explain their choices or fail the class. Myself and my wife immediately had a conference with the principal and asked why they were teaching politics in class and pointed out to them that what they were doing violated federal and state voting laws. The "teacher" wasn't happy that she was called on her antics. The crap stopped in the class room and we even have several video/audio recordings of the teacher ranting in class about her politics.

I would be down at the school right now raising holy hell. Don't let those union stooges get the best of your kids just because they have them trapped for 8 hours a day.

Interesting....

The Senate Democrats have left the state and left it paralyzed. All the while, the carry bill was not considered, because the "budget was considered more important".

Does anyone not realize that saving people's lives by passing a constitutional carry law, or a strong shall-issue carry law, is more important than silly budget issues? This could have been fixed in less than 2 weeks, if that, but we kept getting told "the budget stuff needs to be done".

Great, with the Dems talking about staying out of the state for "however long it takes to make Governor Walker stop union busting", whatever that means, that means carry reform is being delayed further to later this year, if at all.

All the while, more law abiding citizens are being arrested for violating the concealed carry ban, more of our mothers, daughters, and sisters are being raped, violently assaulted, and murdered.

Life>Budget

Too bad the "smartest people in the room" in terms of the political branches of government decided to wage war with the state's unions first. Regardless of your opinion on unions in general, the first order of business should have been saving the lives of law abiding citizens who wish to carry effectively for their personal protection, not "union busting" and not budgetary matters.

Spot on... Walker will be a One Term Wonder because of this silliness. He is too busy Union busting to be bothered with silly things like the Right to Bear Arms.... :(

I can't say what I want to say, because the moderator will accuse me of Democrat bashing.

Not sure what you were gonna say, but remember that this is primary an OC related forum. This was sort of my attempt to re-orient it towards carry and the issues involving it.

The fact is, The Governor and the majority leadership decided that saving lives was less important than going after a political enemy of theirs, which are the unions. I should come up with a time clock which states "Persons in Wisconsin who have been harmed by lack of concealed carry since Governor Walker and the Majority Leadership decided to do other things: _____"

You can blame the Senate Democrats all you want for leaving the state, but the responsibility for the lack of carry progress is solely in the hands of Walker and the Majority Leadership.

By the end of tonight, at least one person will be violently attacked because they couldn't carry in the manner most comfortable to them. Carry could have been done two weeks ago with a simple repeal bills. It wasn't, because "the budget" and "union busting" was more important. This is about people's lives here.

I am a huge fan of Walker and what he is doing. I also get what you are saying. Why couldn't the Rep.s pushed through a Castle Doctrine and Constitiutioanl Carry bills while all the Dems are out of state. That would have taught them to show up for work.

Not a good time to be trying to fire up the pro gunners to put heat on the Repubs. AT THIS TIME until the present crisis is resolved, pressuring legislators with conceal carry is not a wise idea. You PO enough of them off, you may not see a CC bill for a long time.

DO NOT mess with these politicians right now.
