Constitutional carry is the holy grail.

In this case though, there appears to be a fishhook:

"Wanggaard said the proposal would enhance public safety because it would eliminate tension created when residents carry weapons openly, as current state law allows...."

Help me - no OC is not Constitutional Carry.

From Keep and bear arms seems like it was passed out of committee yesterday

Wisconsin residents and visitors could carry hidden weapons without first obtaining a license or training under a bill lawmakers advanced on Tuesday. Republicans on the Senate’s judiciary and public safety committee agreed to move the bill forward, allowing the full Senate to take up the bill next month.
