that is status quo and the politicians have nothing to fear...so those activities haven't produced results & WILL NOT WORK!

VCDL, et al., needs to initiate with publicity out the derrière using social & newspeek media, that recall activities are being started against the governor & several of the other goode olde boys, one lower and one higher [their choice] over the waste of taxpayer $$$ spent on lobby day and their other stupid legislative activities...

you will see the channels of dialogue open but VCDL, et al., should strictly refuse those advances as it is a sign of weakness, leads everyone goes back to status quo, and shows those being recalled VCDL, et al., didn't mean it and was nothing more than an attempt to garner attention...

It may be status quo but its also the rules. We follow the rules of govt and law as currently operating until such is not longer any reasonable action. They another route must be followed.

Second Amendment Sanctuaries - Fighting Back Against Tyranny!
A Second Amendment Sanctuary is any locality that says it will not enforce any unconstitutional (federal or state) gun laws! Many sheriffs are going to take the County's lead on this and county police could be told not to enforce such laws either. (Law enforcement officers do not have to, and shouldn't, enforce any unconstitutional laws.)

NOTE: Just because a locality is a sanctuary doesn't mean you can't be arrested. We must stop the gun-control bills from ever becoming law. This fight will take at least two years, so stay engaged! Attend Lobby Day to help convince the General Assembly to defeat all gun-control bills.

Since November 6, 2019, we now have 136 Second Amendment Sanctuary counties, towns, and cities!

R U L E s state statute & VA constitution count?

1. VA Code § 24.2-233 states that "Upon petition, a circuit court may remove from office any elected officer or officer who has been appointed to fill an elective office, residing within the jurisdiction of the court." Acceptable reasons for recall when it has "material adverse effect upon the conduct of the office" include:
  • Neglect of duty
  • Misuse of office
  • Incompetence in the performance
2. While there is no precedent of a Virginia state legislator or governor having faced recall, nor has the process been litigated in the courts. Removal of the Virginia Governor by impeachment is provided for in the Virginia Constitution.

3. The petition for recall must be signed by at least 10% of the number of people who voted in the last election for the office being recalled...
delegates averaged 22K +/- = 2.2k signatures
senators averaged 100K +/- = 10k signatures
governor averaged 2.5M +/- = 250k signatures

rules...here are the rules...

By the time that was resolved the next elections will have passed. But if it is such a great idea, move north and get it started.
