The Greensboro Gun and Knife Show is this weekend at the GREENSBORO COLISEUM SPECIAL EVENTS CENTER 1921 West Lee Street, Greensboro, NC 27403

got curious based on the other VA thread about their gun shows cancelling dates so i went to their site which showed the standard legalese release... can't hold us responsible for lost...blah blah blah...

" I do not hold the Greensboro Gun and Knife Show, Inc....." or "...GGS, and its sponsors,..." http://greensborogunshow.com/reservation_form.php

interestingly though, checking the NC SoS' electronic records...neither of these entities show up in their corporation records...? http://www.sosnc.gov/search/index/corp

so how can they have those actively participating, e.g., have a table, release an incorporated entity from liability which isn't even listed in the state's records, active, inactive, dissolved?

something else to do this weekend...

OPPS ~ Multiple firearms stolen

Multiple weapons were stolen from a gun show at the Greensboro Coliseum on Saturday night, according to Greensboro police. Several weapons of various makes and models were stolen from vendors overnight at the semi-annual Greensboro Gun & Knife Show, police said in a press release. Police said the number and types of weapons have not yet been determined as the investigation is in the early stages. A security guard reported the theft to the Greensboro Police Department on Sunday morning. Greensboro police said multiple guns have been recovered, but they are still interviewing vendors to see how many are missing.

no wonder the ATF has sent numerous alerts to FFLs in NC and SC and it still occurs...

oh the organizers say they have no liability since they provide security after hours...and force exhibitors to sign releases to that affect.
