This was reintroduced for 2020 a few days ago, hat tip to the Goal Post.

This bill would outlaw both open carry and concealed carry at the state capitol and associated grounds/buildings.

(note, the link above covers the 2019 AND 2020 sessions)

Here are the emails for the House Civil Rights and Judiciary Committee: Christine.Kilduff@leg.wa.gov; My-Linh.Thai@leg.wa.gov; Roger.Goodman@leg.wa.gov; Drew.Hansen@leg.wa.gov; Steve.Kirby@leg.wa.gov; Tina.Orwall@leg.wa.gov; Strom.Peterson@leg.wa.gov; Javier.Valdez@leg.wa.gov; Amy.Walen@leg.wa.gov

Email them and tell them how you feel about them proposing that everyone be disarmed except their personal bodyguards. Even if they aren't your personal representatives, they still represent everyone in the state in their positions as committee members.

hummm...misquoting of Mr. Jefferson...
"The sentence “The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government” appears to be a modern augmentation. It does not appear to date back much further than its publication in a 1989 pro-Second Amendment newspaper column by Charlie Reese, and it is certainly not found among Jefferson’s recorded writings, letters, or speeches:

"...does not appear in the Virginia Constitution drafts or text as adopted, nor in any other Jefferson writings that we know of.”
