The world uses these social media outlets. Why would I want to go somewhere where the masses aren't? If I wanted a likeminded crowd, I would just post here and listen to the bickering back and forth of improper grammar and misquotes and lack of sites.

I love how people say "We need to create our own conservative Facebook, and go there and post."

Yea...no ya don't...because Facebook didn't pop up overnight. It's been 15+ years in the making.

Figure out ways to get around it- continue to exercise your liberty against anyone that tries to oppress it.

Such is the american way.

MySpace,,,,,,,,, is still around

Meet with your elected reps and press the flesh. Get on their mailing list. Attend their constituency functions when you can. Most elected reps will remember those who show up, and when you have the opportunity to bend their ear they will tend to remember your words and your name...a modest monetary donation to their efforts to remain employed certainly does not hurt either.

If we are to preserve this precious right of ours to OC, then in the real world we have to be low-key, humble, and nonconfrontational. If you are asked to leave, then LEAVE. IMMEDIATELY. And say NOTHING whatsoever other than "Have a nice day, goodbye." Sticking a camera in some wage-slave's face is not going to prove anything and is just going to piss everyone off and make all of us look self-righteous and hostile, which is the one thing we should not be coming off as. If asked to leave, go home and try writing an actual paper letter to the company and explain what happened and that you feel your civil and legal right to carry a gun openly (assuming this is legal where you live) is not something that should become void when you merely step through the front door of one of their stores, and that you feel the company is disrepsecting that right. It might also help to mention the exact time this happened, the employee's name (don't ask the employee or write it down, just look at the name tag and remember it.) and where in the store this happened. Every last security camera in every last Wal-mart on planet earth has a constant, recorded feed to the company's HQ, and those videos are usually not overwritten for 9 months. Whoever reads that letter (That's a letter, NOT an email. A real letter gets ten times the attention an email does.) will, right from their desk, be able to call up that video and see that you left when you were asked to, like a *grownup*, that you offered no protest or argument, and previous to being asked to leave that you were entirely minding your own business while shopping. Believe me, that is going to get a lot more attention and positive results than your being the umpteenth J.O. in this world with a point to prove and who thinks that sticking a phone in someone's face is the way to do it. It's usually best to first give a company the chance to resolve an issue before you go throwing it out there for the court of brain-dead public opinion to pass judgement on.

As you frequent this forum a bit longer or go back and read past threads, you will discern the majority of members do not hold and are quite critical of the attention getting individual who generate the in-your-face videos in a high esteem out here.

As in the 1947 movie ~ Miracle on 34th Street...when the court was shown bags of mail supporting Mr Claus i’m sure there were unopened letters not in support!

Same principle, you write a letter complaining, letter arrives, is left unopened and unread where it is then put with other unopened letters and when there is enough to fill a huge mailbag the mgmt of WalMart [ad nauseam] calls a press conference to show the world that this nation’s citizenry has written a huge amount of letters showing support for their new anti policy.

Yepper...good plan...

Oh welcome to the forum, sit a spell and chat a bit...

Jordan B. Peterson has been criticized for his explanation of Bibical Beatitudes meek as one who keeps his sword sheathed, based on a reinterpretation of the Greek.

Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

i try not to speak about things i'm not educated on. i know my fair share of social media.

first, i didn't advise to stick a camera in an employee's face (wage-slave is the derogatory term you used), i simply said to carry, and if asked to leave, then leave. but make sure to record that interaction.

To address the camera entries here, I have a very reliable BobLov clip-on camera. You order it direct from China and it costs about $60- $80 plus a memory card. I generally wear it on my belt and do so when I think legal matters may ensue from my innocent carry of a weapon. It does have some bulk and I have to make sure it is functional so I do not wear it all the time but maybe I should. I have not posted on-line but I may put one on this site to see how it posts.

When something disagreeable like this Walmart happens, with few possible positive outcomes, it is good idea to have some fun because of it. I have not been back in since this occurred. This is not because I fear a bad outcome. I suspect it would work in my store. But I do not like what they did. So now I am beginning to source my considerable goods from other places. One of those is a local dairy farm and home aging of cheese. All it takes is a wine refrigerator or thermostatically modified regular refrigerator and in 6 months or more you will not have to buy cheese from anybody. 52 degrees Fahrenheit is about right. Kind of like reloading your own shells. It gives a man much satisfaction and your groups will be smaller.

If someone was exercising any other fundamental right inside walmart, and walmart kicked them out it would be national news and a bad day for walmart.

Instead of "taking your money elsewhere", everyone that lives in an OC state should continue to shop at walmart, openly-carrying, and have someone there filming. And then publish it. The news media isn't going to show the law-abiding side of it, walmart isn't going to show the law-abiding side of it: we need to show it.

If everyone on this forum that lived in an OC state did so at walmart and filmed and published it on facebook, youtube, instagram, and twitter then there would be a case nationwide for the harassment of law-abiding citizens exercising a right.

But ya'll that want to "take your money elsewhere" are doing exactly what you're told, and are sheep just like the rest of them. You aren't doing anything wrong, so continue doing what you're doing. Else, go ahead and delete your account bro you're not needed on this forum.

That's exactly what PINAC is doing and more and more people are waking up to police injustice. If there's sooooo many of us open carrying in walmart without incident on a daily basis, there should be oodles of footage.

Start recording.
Well we should go in open Carry .get the standard hassle .not sign the form .but leave when asked and if l.o.e. wants to take us to jail for trespass for not signing form then file discrimination lawsuit against wal mart as concealed carriers are not booted and cops get to open carry . just because we are not employed by a political zone our licence and rights are no good ? Also would there be an entrapment if they let you shop but wait till the cops show to mAke. Contact then detain you till you sign the form...don't spend your money there but maybe burn up some of wal.marts money in lawsuits .

People have been OC'ing in Walmarts for years, nothing new there.
Posting OC interactions on social media will prove nothing to the viewer that 'doesn't care'. They will not know you are 'normal guy' just carrying a gun.

Just like the "meek" were left on the Atlantic coast when the "non-meek" went west and forged a country out of the wilderness. The "brave" go where the "meek" fear to go. When we develop permanent colonies on other planets or moons in this solar system, and then ships head for the stars, it is the "meek" that remain to "inherit" the Earth.

Here is my take on the whole WalMart deal.

First, I have continued to OC in my local Walmart's without issue. No personnel approached me, no cops were called, no one ran screaming out of the store. I understand Walmart's new stance, however I believe it is regional. If you carry in a Texas Walmart in the vicinity of where the shooting took place or where the heavily armed idiot decided to carry his long gun while wearing body armor one day after the shooting, then there is a real chance of getting permanently trespassed, which is the right of the property owner to do, or charged with making terroristic threats and...shot. However, I believe it all depends on where the store is. In Iowa, as mentioned, I continue to carry, open and otherwise, in most stores I visit, including Walmart. No one bats an eye.

Second, as far as the general public is concerned, they only see the scary gun. Most sheep don't care about your intentions. "Get that big scary gun away from me!" The media only cares about the current agenda, which, as most of you know, is to demonize lawful gun owners and carriers. Considering somewhere between 500,000 and 1,000,000 lives are saved by lawful defensive use of firearms each year, its pretty obvious that I am correct in the media's slant. Take the Sutherland Springs Church Shooting. That man wasn't stopped by a heavily armed swat team, rather by a passerby who heard the shots and used his lawfully owned AR-15 and his marksmen skills as an NRA instructor to shoot the suspect twice before he was able to leave the church. Did any of you see Stephen Willeford (NRA Instructor) on any MSM being hailed as a hero? Me neither.

Finally, the only way to impact Walmart's bottom line is mass protests. The company gets government funding on the regular, so even if 1/4 of a million lawful gun owns stop shopping their, it wont stop them. It needs to be the mass of the public. And we all know that the general public are Twitter, Facebook, and MSM zombies. They don't even know what the real news is. So, while I would support an effort to make light of Walmart's new policy, the media will simply refuse to cover it because it doesn't go along with the agenda.
