I would have told him that 1) I want my money back because I'm leaving, 2) it's terrible of them to resort to bait and switch, and 3) it's a shame that a Luby's (the site of a mass shooting) is willing to discriminate against law abiding citizens.

I would have told them no...they just asked you to conceal, not told you to leave.

If asked to leave, I would .. why support lizzurds.

You have just rewarded them.

I was in a non-posted establishment that asked my Sweet Baboo and I to "put your guns in your car".The owner considered the entire restaurant a gun free zone because a portion was an actual bar. We were on motorcycles, so that was not an option even if I had wanted to. Because we had ordered and had our meal delivered to the table, we chose not to pay for the meal. I explained that I had purchased a meal to eat at a table, not to go, and it was their choice. Allow us to eat in peace or we shall leave. We left and have not returned.

Tell'em you had a relative killed at their Killeen restaurant...

This is how Texans got paid CHL, and now are 'allowed' to OC our 2A rights.

Sir, I believe VA_Nemo was asking for a citation to Luby's banning open carry or his experience with it since the OP edited his post, not the Killeen shooting.

You are correct Ian. I am quite familiar with the original Luby's 1991 shooting. I was requesting specifics and details on his reported relatively current experience.
