Pretty straightforward. Trying to get a group of OC'ers together who enjoy the outdoors for some hiking and like minded company.

I like the idea.

I look back on all the years I spent birding, and some of the places we went, and wonder about whether I would have been AS accepted in the groups had I been carrying. Would have hated to spoil some of those friendships... but I know it would have cemented others.

But to be out with anyone with a common interest is a good thing, and OC is just another factor, IMO.
