Seattle Council Candidate Grant Wants to Double ‘Gun Violence Tax’

One of the candidates running to fill the Seattle City Council seat being vacated by Tim Burgess, who pushed through the city’s “gun violence tax,” is proposing to double that tax to raise revenue not realized during the first year it was assessed, a move predicted by Washington state’s leading gun rights advocate.

At this point, I'm not surprised anymore. What other legal challenges could possibly be done here to fight such a raise in taxes? The state will support it without a doubt, and I don't see any possible way that King county will want to stop such a thing, since THEY are the ones asking for this. At this point, the rest of Washington state should eject King county from the damn state and make Seattle their own state!
