I know I am fairly new to this forum, and I am not a lawyer, but the MS Constitution and concealment laws don't seem that confusing to me, unless you are carrying without a permit. So my holster covers part of my weapon, uh-oh, it's concealed in part! yeah... Here's my permit, have a nice day. I know it sucks having to go through the hassle of getting one and the cost, but that's another debate. Am I missing something? If you have a permit, you're permited to carry it concealed in whole, or in part, right?

This is just me thinking out loud, but many of us may not want the "State" or "Fed" knowing that we are exercising our God Given right to self defense. "... shall not be infringed." seems to have taken on an entirely new meaning. It seems that any level of government can infringe on the citizens rights any time they think something up! Those that founded this Nation were quite verbose in what they were thinking when they constructed our Constitution. Again, our jailers, we call them politicians, reinvent the meaning of the words and phrases inscribed on the document that is the highest law of the land.

If we resided in the nation in 1790 instead of 2013, do you think we would be prohibited from carrying firearms anywhere we felt it necessary? I say that would be ludicrous. So, which day between then and now did it become OK to violate the Constitution? That is a tough question to answer.

I could not agree with you more. I was just commenting on how to follow the BS laws the way they are written, if you chose to try and follow them. I'm with you 100% on your post.
