UOC on public transport

Sorry if this had been posted, I can't find statutes regarding carrying UOC in public transportation vehicles - buses, trolleys, trains, etc.

Or are we only allowed to carry unloaded firearm in locked, fully enclosed containers while using public transport?

Pretty much the only problem you'll find with UOC in CA in public places is the school zone issue.
If the bus goes through a school zone, it better be locked up.

Any travel via public transportation might also be changed soon thanks to AB 2324. I'd read up on that if you plan on traveling on public transportation after January 1, 2011.
