So, the 22,000 plus "We Will Not Comply" protesters that complied with the governor's order to stay off the capitol grounds last year have now reaped what they sowed.

Well, it was this year, not last, and we complied with the order because that's what law-abiding citizens do. As for non-compliance with the new laws, some of that will be at the discretion of local LEOs.

No, we haven't reaped what was sown. What we've done and will continue to do is make our case known to our legislators that they are infringing on our 2A rights with each and every "sensible" gun law that they propose. With the deck currently stacked as it is, it will be difficult, but we will persevere. We were successful in diluting many of the proposed bills, and some were deferred for later consideration (e.g. crime commission study).

yes, 2a4all, et al., that has worked so well with bloomie's bought political hacks in the VA legislative body & governor!

you're absolutely delusional if you believe you were successful at diddly squat [diluting, really?]

elected SOs will uphold the statutory laws ~ so waiting to see what's going to happen....remember VA's brandishing statute is a viable, putt'em in jail do not pass go statut!

Mommy, mommy Susie hit me.
No, you did not comply with a lawful order. It was clearly an unlawful order. We have been over this before, you all folded. You all lost and they won. You all complied with a unlawful order. Just admit it.

Real men stand-up and admit when they are wrong.

It's probably a good thing that due to the covid-19 pandemic, all these first time gun buyers have been going nuts buying up guns and ammo in record setting amounts. That's a lot more people that will want their rights protected.

So what would the right thing to do have been? We had three choices: 1) don't enter the restricted area; 2) comply and enter; 3) commit civil disobedience by tearing down the barrier and entering armed, which would accomplish what? We weren't there to start a riot or even a protest; we were there to hold a peaceful rally, which we did.

Were you there?

The fight's not over. The opposition is strong, well funded and organized, but we'll continue to persevere. Can we count on your support?

no you didn't and you know that!

when the bloomie overseers thru up illogical [and illegal] nonsense, those that could've cared, didn't halt and regroup and challenge the overseers order whatsoever, they capitulated and said ok...

now the bills have been presented, discussed, passed, signed and are now the law of the commonwealth!

nobody had the gumption to initially challenge, but now the challenges in the judicial courts are going to be costly and time consuming & unsuccessful!

nobody going to push an initial recall and challenging the re-election of those who did the damage is wasted cuz the damage is done and they didn't buy dinner, use lub or a condom, nor kiss ya good bye, nor leave any money on the dresser!

persevere ? persevere what? they're laws of the commonwealth ! perseverance activities should have been done before !

For the most part, it's over. Until you remove this governor, legislator and repeal of those laws they enacted it's over.
At six years old I was taught that when the bully draws a line in the sand you cross the line and pummel the bully to within an inch of his life. You held-up a sign that said "we shall not comply" and then you complied. You refused to cross the line in the sand.

The bullies didn't outnumber you-all. You out numbered the bullies a 100 to 1 and you folded.
