DoubleTap and I will be at Golden Corral on Providence Rd. at about 11:30 am. Top on my list is crispy bacon and cinnamon sweet rolls.

Last week we entertained the troops - large group of Army reservists. Lots of started looks, but no negative comments.

We enjoyed a nice breakfast, There were a few bug eyes, but no negative commrnts.

Midway through our meal I noticed 2 private security officers (agency shall go unnamed) who were OCing empty holsters. When I asked why, the reply was, "If we carry a gun, we would be obligated to come to the aid of another."

You can't make up stuff like this. Have to wonder who trains these people.

Me, I carry to protect and defend myself and loved ones. I am not obligated to defend others. They can carry their own protection...or not. Been said - better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Grape,it is rumored that one becomes more patient with age, however when I encounter idiots like your aforementioned security officers, I have noticed my patience is rather thin...

Enjoy the breakfast gathering today!
