We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. It will be worth it! :)

Today I went hiking at Jefferson Memorial Forest, and I saw a sign that stated "firearms prohibited." It's free, but you need a permit to hike the trails. It's free, but on the back of the permit there is a list of rules and regulations. No firearms was also listed on the rules and regulations...
So today, I was going to the public library and noticed a sign that read: “CONCEALED DEADLY WEAPONS PROHIBITED ON THESE PREMISES BY METRO GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE”
I am wondering. Is this a legitimate ordinance, or does it violate KRS 65.870 that says no city, town, county, or other municipality...
The Jefferson County Sheriff States in their CCDW brochure that weapons cannot be be carried in places of worship. :confused: You can find exact wording here:

:question: I can't find any law supporting this in Kentucky. Is this a violation of KRS...
