Welcome to OCDO. OPEN Carry Dot Org.

If I read your question properly, you are seeking information about the legality of carrying concealed in a state agency owned vehicle. You will have more luck looking through your state HR manual about employees carrying on the job, and then checking what you find there with the specific agency's HR manual.

Do stick around and join the discussions related to the open carrying of handguns.

stay safe.

It is not illegal per se; but according to state employment policy, state employees are not to have firearms with them in their workplace buildings, in their vehicles while in the building parking lots, or in state vehicles.

Don't ask, don't tell- but if you're caught, be prepared to pay the price.

Thanks guys. Hate that I cannot protect myself legally while working for the state. Especially with the nature of my job
