Lending a firearm?

I'm from Virginia but have family in Maryland. A family member wants to lend a couple handguns to a friend who wants to go shooting at a shooting range. Personally I wouldn't. But what are Maryland laws when it comes to letting someone borrow a handgun?

I wouldn't. Especially not as a non-resident.

MD can be brutal. They've even tried to prosecute federal LEOs who were covered by LEOSA.

Going to the range with his friend to shoot I would think would be OK. Other than that, NO.
