I have a Ruger SR1911CMD, it is a real shooter. You're gonna love that gun!

Here's mine:

Nice looking handgun, the Pride of JM Browning View attachment 12845

I just acquired a compact .45 and I like it. It has been a while since I have EDCed a 1911 on other than a funeral. I am thinking about building a 1911 out of Para parts. Paras seem to be everywhere and cheap.

This is this weeks "new" gun.
View attachment 12846 I like the adjustable trigger. I popped the grips off and replaced them with ivory. I found a "love note" on the inside of the R grip. The gun was a gift to Granma to "keep her safe". I like that

Some times it is just easier to buy.

Not as fun ! Haha ... "why isn't my safety working" , "why is my mag falling out" , "why when I shoot my gun it falls apart?".

After building I think one gets a better understanding of the workings of that specific piece.

Now you should build one and see if you can improve upon the Ruger.

Maybe a "Hello Kitty" style

I have armorer certificates from Glock,Colt, Ruger and Remington been doing amateur gun smithing for many decades

I normally can find out why something isn't working.

But then improving on or building ones own can be fun.

Put about 80 rounds through it so far has went bang every time and hasn't missed a beat
