I came to Indianapolis to visit my family, I live in Arizona and before I lived in Idaho, and in both states I do not need any permit to CC 0r O.C. What can I do to CC or O.C in Indiana if Arizona do not give any permits?? and in my 3 weeks here I have not see any O.Carriers. This is a very beautiful state. very green.
My understanding is Indiana accepts AZ lawful carry. check out http://www.handgunlaw.us/ Both AZ and IN honor each other.

Welcome, stay warm while in the Hoosier state and as I am sure you are aware, AZ & ID does have ‘enhanced permits’ for its citizens when traveling throughout this great nation, but back to your query, according to handgunlaw.us:

Open Carry is legal in Indiana but you must have a valid Permit/License to Carry to Open Carry. Places as listed in the “Places Off Limits” above apply to those who open carry. See the “RV/Car Carry Without a Permit” section for carrying in a vehicle. From all I hear Open Carry is not common in Indiana.

Further, IAW handgunlaw.us, IN recognizes permitless carry state(s) as long as you are not a prohibited person and you have your AZ DL to CC. Suggest you review the cite above for specifics within the Hoosier’s boundaries.

Have open carried in Indiana for many years. Mostly in the southern parts of the state to include crossing the "border" into Kentucky with zero problems.

AD (on a Florida permit)
