Ok...I know this is not firearm or OC related, but this is a "general discussion" forum yes? This is a semi-freedom related question, I believe .
I have been trying to locate any court opinions on the legality of vehicle registration when the purchaser maintains possession of the Certificate of Origin/Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO), but have found none in several hours of fruitless searching.
I am wondering if someone may have personal experience or documented knowledge of the outcome of such cases in any state in the Union. This has become a topic of interest for me and I can't seem to find what I am looking for.
