Hello Montana. Just wanted to report on my easy experience in your state. I live in Washington and am a regular OCer. Wife and I took a trip to Cody and made a few stops in Montana both in and out. Gas twice at the Town Pump in Whitehall with no problem. Stayed at the wonderful Grand Hotel in Big Timber without a second glance from anyone. Though when the wife and I inquired about OC laws with the young hotel clerk he just didn't know, so I just did some quick research to be sure I was in the clear. Locked it up in the truck for the Little Big Horn battlefield because of Fed rules. On the way back had to run into Billings and get my windshield fixed at Safelite on Main. All in all, great folks with no problems anywhere. Also stopped on the way out for a shake at the St. Regis travel center for a nummy shake.:monkey

I am glad you had no issues while visiting my friend. I live in Philipsburg, and visit Butte and Missoula on a regular basis while OCing. Our laws are simple and almost entirely directed to those who choose to conceal.
