27 April 22 National Review, quote:
At the 2022 Teacher of the Year ceremony hosted by the White House on Wednesday, President Biden claimed that school children don’t belong to parents “when they’re in the classroom.”

“They’re all our children. And the reason you’re the teachers of the year is because you recognize that. They’re not somebody else’s children. They’re like yours when they’re in the classroom,” he said.

Later in the speech, Biden targeted Republicans and the parent movements in local school districts that have fought to remove from libraries and curricula books that promote radical gender and racial ideologies.

I get tired of hearing about these people are progressives. They are not, they are full card carrying communists.
The 10 planks:
  1. Abolition of Property in Land and Application of all Rents of Land to Public Purpose.
  2. A Heavy Progressive or Graduated Income Tax.
  3. Abolition of All Rights of Inheritance.
  4. Confiscation of the Property of All Emigrants and Rebels.
  5. Centralization of Credit in the Hands of the State, by Means of a National Bank with State Capital and an Exclusive Monopoly.
  6. Centralization of the Means of Communication and Transport in the Hands of the State.
  7. Extension of Factories and Instruments of Production Owned by the State, the Bringing Into Cultivation of Waste Lands, and the Improvement of the Soil Generally in Accordance with a Common Plan.
  8. Equal Liability of All to Labor. Establishment of Industrial Armies, Especially for Agriculture.
  9. Combination of Agriculture with Manufacturing Industries; Gradual Abolition of the Distinction Between Town and Country by a More Equable Distribution of the Population over the Country.
  10. Free Education for All Children in Public Schools. Abolition of Children's Factory Labor in it's Present Form. Combination of Education with Industrial Production.

It's true, they've resurrected the Roman fascist theory of "parens patriae", that the Supreme Holy Father (Augustus) was the father of the country - which originally meant, of all the people in the country as an authoritarian ruler, not like Washington's having been the "father of his country" as an originator. The solution: home education. The public schools are physically dangerous, spiritually dangerous, politically dangerous, and intellectually dangerous. And I don't mean "home-schooling", attempting to replicate public school in the home is ridiculous. Anyone with the resources to do it ought to get their kids out of the hands of the state as soon as possible.
