Disappointed w/BenchMade’s business decision to destroy firearms in LE custody for local LEs

Seems BM agreed to destroy ‘confiscated’ firearms, those turned in by citizens [?] and those no longer needed as evidence[?] for the local LE shop?

The backlash for boycott was almost immediate...

Surely in lieu of physical destruction better methodology could have been found and used to assure possible historical firearms are not destroyed on a whim as well as bring even a small amount of $$ into the coffers?

Though it it commical watching the backpedal dance by LE & BM.
