  • H.7633: Banning the purchase of firearms on behalf of someone prohibited by law from possessing them

dougie...who cares what Rhode Island does...the state government does not feel their citizens "and others" need the 2A constitutional rights.

Rhode Island does not honor any other states Permit/Licenses.

OC'g or carry in a vehicle is allowed ...if you have the state sponsored privilege carry card issued by the RI AG....

that the good citizenry allow such nonsense by their elected officials is truly their problem now isn't it!

Almost all those bills are in direct conflict with their own constitution and the federal constitution. The last time the Rhode Island supreme court addressed the constitutional issue was in Mosby v. Devine, 851 A. 2d 1031 in 2004. The decision uses corkscrew logic or skullduggery to relegate it to the trash pile.

However, that decision is in direct conflict with Heller and McDonald. Meaning the Mosby decision is moot. Has no legal authority or standing.
