Absolutely AWESOME turnout at our "Pistols and Pizza" event! Got a few cards passed out to the general public and tons of onlookers. Other than that, you didn't hear anything on the news about a shoot out at the CiCis Corral. Haha

I was saying my goodbye, partially blocking the pizza line. A young lady and I bumped. She looked down to see what hard metal thing she hit and she :shocker: at my gun. Then she started looking around at everybody else like this: :uhoh:. And then she went and got her drink.

Oh yeah, and I want to say it was great to meet all of you, we'll miss you DooFster. I'm glad I remembered my cards this time! Hope y'all get to pass them out.

Great turnout. Did not get a good count however I believe we had 22 open carry guns. Did not ask about how many concealed. O by the way this was in North Las Vegas.

So often the anti gun persons wants to stereo type gun owners into some kind of supremacy, militias, red neck or rambo group. We had a great sample of many walks of life, singles, young, old, male, female, moms, dads and ethnicity. No robberies, shooting, or arguments over parking while we were there. The children were safe and no animals were hurt.

Indeed, what a tremendously diverse group! It was great to shake hands with everyone and chat with a few. Even though I'm usually a bit introverted, next time I'll try to mingle a bit more. This was my wife's first time OC'ing that didn't involve a trip to the range, so I was trying to stay by her side. Having y'all there made her feel very comfortable with OC, and I believe I'll be able to get her to start doing it a little more.

Join the Facebook group for meetup details. Some stuff happened here and details migrated there, along with most of the traffic. Good for OC, but for those of us trying to catalogue stuff and preserve incidents/details, Facebook is a bad medium for that. More people need to come back here and cross-post.

We’ve traveled to various locations throughout Las Vegas as well as the surrounding area, enjoying amazing eats and treats. We’ve also enjoyed the camaraderie with friends at each gathering however, as wonderful as it has been, remember that there is always more room at the table so please join us.

Once again, the Las Vegas Open Carry of Southern Nevada is celebrating the spirit of our constitution by organizing another monthly meet up to commemorate the 2nd Amendment!
For this meet up, we’re going to enjoy the eats and treats of the metropolitan area. When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie…that’s amore! What better way to do that? With brick ovens, freshly baked pizza, and good times shared with your friends and family.
