buckmarks are exemplary and you might be able to 'trade in' your 'as new' pistol at gander, etc.

ipse

My buck mark has thousands of rounds through it I had to replace the recoil buffer and have to tighten screws every few hundred rounds not as durable as my MK 1 Ruger.

Kudos to Walther on the warranty coverage and very quick turn around. Can't complain about that aspect of everything. And given that there is no proof that it was a firearm issue rather than an ammo issue, this story makes me more inclined to purchase the P22 we considered.

If you found with this issue you just need to consult with professional gun makers. The plastic under the slide is buldged and broken from the grip, most of the way to the front. gun safe lighting

Kevin,

The last post to this thread was over six months ago, and even post #17 states the OP had already received it back from Walther, repairs covered completely under warranty.

Yes my son is just fine. He got one small scratch on his face, but no big deal. He did have safety glasses on, but, I have been a little bit lax on that, not any longer! I am certainly surprised, what a .22 can do. I can only imagine what a larger caliber would do, if things went bad.

I'm glad to hear he's fine, that must've been pretty scary. I was actually considering buying a p22 today or tomorrow, my local gander mountain has them for $299. Looks like I may pay a bit more for something else.

I personally would have no problem, plus Walther took care of an obvious case blowout, something Glock will not do. Almost every single handgun on the market has had kabooms.
