I like that.Lthrnck wrote:I like the answer when asked if "do you need a gun here...are you expecting trouble?" is to say "If I was expecting troubleI'dof brought my rifle."On more then one occasion I have been asked , " Do you really think you need the gun here?"
I have thought on how to answer it, I have come up with this response,
Do I think it need it, probably not.
Do I hope I need it, NO...
Am I prepared if I do need it....YES.
Food for thought.....
I made those cards to hand to people AFTER I'd talked to them. This is a 2-sided card--with the "reasons on the front and the websites on the back. I thought that if people seemed interested, I could han them this card, and the websites would be right there in their hand so they could do further research on their own.I'm not quite wure what I think about a preprinted card. I'm not sure how people would respond to something like that.
Well said I agree 100%! Thank you for taking the time to send the cards to those that want them!rmansu2 wrote:I made those cards to hand to people AFTER I'd talked to them. Believe me, I've got NO problem talking about OC to people when they as questions. I've had some VERY positive experiences, and chances to educate people as to the law and their rights here in NC, and in VA too.
ME OCing is like opening the door for them.
My conversation is me guiding them through the door.
The websites are the path toward them potentially becoming "one of us".
This card was never inteded to be a substitute for engaging conversation or friendly discourse, or to act as some sort of "activist brush off". It's more like the icing on an otherwise very tasty and rich cake...
