an email I got today.

Wonkette, the celebrated left-liberal Washington blogger, reports that Roland Burris has built a monument to himself -- his tombstone in Oak Woods Cemetery in Chicago.

The monument is already inscribed with virtually his entire resume and, it seems, has stood for several years.

The Wonkette report follows immediately; below that is a link to a large photograph of the Burris monument on which all inscriptions can be read.

WONKETTE

OH SO HE'S A PSYCHOPATH

Roland Burris Has Already Constructed His Terrifying Death Chamber

Wonkette grave-robbing operative “Vasyl” sends us this hilarious bit of information about your would-be new junior Senator from Illinois, Roland “Don’t Lynch Me” Burris: “Just so you know, that nice old black man who is set to become the next US Senator from Illinois is well prepared. He has already built a tombstone — actually, more of a monument — with all his accomplishments listed on it. Planning ahead, he has left extra space for additional accomplishments. Also, Roland Burris’s children? They’re named Roland II and Rolanda. No joke.” HMM… It appears that there is much to learn about this so-called “Roland Burris.”

Here is a link to a photograph of the Burris monument that is large enough so that all the inscriptions can be read:

Something looks a bit strange about the photo. I noticed that the tomp on the right (I assume to me for his wife) does not have her birthdate inscribed under the name as his is.

Could this be a case of a little Photoshopping?

If not, he's left out one of his major accomplishments.

I am an amateur but IMO this is photo shopped.

Incomplete pixalation on some numbers and letters - would not exist with relatively new stone cut work.

If it is real let's see a dated submission from a known source. Till then.......

Would not have thought anyone could be that egotistical or arrogant but seein' is believin'.

Same here Grapeshot.

They have already attempted to cement his appointment by saying that anyone opposing his appointment is a racist. They can call me what ever they want, I oppose the selection on ethical grounds.

News down south is a bit sketchy on him. Can someone explain how he can be such
a great AG, and yet he never saw any of the criminal activity by all those jailed
Govenor's?
Or is that his best qualification, he keeps his head in the sand.

I still think that Allen Keys should get the seat. He is known by nation media,
he is black, and he has voted the same way as Obama over 95% of the time.
A perfect fit. The latter came to mind when JJ jr. touted his record, Obama never
votes most of the time, Keys has never cast a vote. Same record.....

Two inmates are sitting in the mess hall of an IL state prison.

First one looks at the other and says, "You know, sentences here weren't as long when you the attorney general."

Second inmate says, "Yeah, well the food was better when you were governor."

That’s some resting place. I guess he wants to be remembered as "Pharaoh" AncientKing of Illinois.
